Smartflyer is a proof-of-concept of an electrically driven aircraft for General Aviation to transport 4 persons. Flying in the smartflyer will be very comfortable with an extremely low noise level in the cabin. There will be no need to wear headsets for a normal conversation in the cabin.

Today’s battery capacities are not good enough for extended flights. A range extender, which is an internal combustion engine who drives a generator charges the batteries during cruise. The smartflyer will have a range of more than 400 NM (750 km).
